I just watched the film Pan's Labyrinth by Guillermo del Toro. I daresay it's one of the best--and saddest movies I've ever seen. I cried. I cried a lot. In fact, I'm still a little teary. It's just heart-wrenching, especially at the end. My mom was watching it with me and she cried too. Pan's Labyrinth is about a young girl, Ofelia in Spain in 1944, after the Spanish Civil War. Like much of Europe, Spain went to the dark side with fascism. Her father died during the war, so her mother has remarried with a military officer. He's a bastard. The fantasy part is kinda hard to explain, you have to watch the movie. Oh yeah, you'll be watching

Okay, I know I said I was going to upload art soon...and I will! But...erm...I haven't gotten to it yet.  Here's why. To take another attempt at finally resolving my depression/anxiety/otheremotionalissues, my mother thought of the ingenious idea of hypnosis! I went to the appointment, and the hypnotist revealed that by being able to control one's subconscious, one can take hold of many emotions, desires, even help their body physically! The hypnotist told me that she had panic attacks and depression, and another problem I have (a few of you know...), and she said talk therapy made her problems worse, because the therapists were just makin

So... tomorrow I fly for Moorhead... I'm excited. I hope you are all too! :) My flight is at noon, so I'm probably leaving for Portland Int'l at around 8:00 Pacific. I'll get to Minneapolis, then take another jet to Fargo Hector Int'l at about 17:30 (I think this is Pacific, so it might be 19:30 in Fargo-Moorhead), if I remember correctly.
